This is the floor plan on the three spaces I will be re-designing. The Public Bar, Lounge and Lower Lounge. As you can see there are various alcoves to contend with as well as steps and numerous doors and walkways. The way the customers and staff move through the space needs to be considered.
The other consideration is the beams with in all three areas. In the lounge and lower lounge they aren't so much of a problem as they are quite small and don't encroach on the ceiling. In the bar area although there are less of them they are larger and covered because they are RSJ's. making a feature of them isn't really an option. Trying to detract attention away from them is best.
